2017 is almost over, but we still have time for one more mellBella Boudoir Marathon. Our last Boudoir Photography Event of 2017 will be on December 1st and 2nd. Sexiest. Gift. Ever! One Image Wednesday- Color Coordination
We love to match the bed to your boudoir look! This Bella brought her teal wedding shoes and wore this gorgeous light pink bodysuit. Combine these colors and match for her hair, eyes, and skin, and wow! This photo was taken with our above-the-bed camera to show how everything came together. It’s all about coordinating the colors to take your boudoir photos to the next level… something that just plain white sheets can’t do.

Who are the women that we photograph at mellBella? They are women just like you.
Women with kids. Women without kids. Women battling infertility or miscarriages. Women in a great relationship. Women who got out of an abusive relationship. Women not in a relationship. Women about to get married. Women celebrating an anniversary. Women no longer married. Women who have never been married. Women celebrating goals or their birthdays. Women who need a break. Women who need to feel beautiful inside and out. Women who volunteer. Women who don’t take care of themselves because they are too busy taking care of others. Women caring for sick or dying family members. Women who have lost weight. Women who have gained weight. Women whose bodies have changed with health or life in general. Women fighting or have fought depression, post partum, eating disorders, diabetes, cancer, and so many more difficulties.
Women with stretch marks, cellulite, age spots, wrinkles, big breasts, small or no breasts, tall, short, thick hair, thinning hair, and everything inbetween. Women of different ages, races, sizes, and shapes. Stay-at-home moms. Working mothers. Professional women. Military. First Responders. Strong women. Strong women who feel weak. Awkward women. Silly women. Women who want to feel valued. Women who want to feel good about themselves. Women who come to our studio just as they are with the hopes of liking 1 or 2 photos of themselves for the first time in their lives. Women who generally like photos of themselves. Women who give and give and give some more. Women who want to show that they’ve still got it.
But one of the things that connects them all is that ALL women are beautiful. Women who are beautiful but don’t know it. Women who are beautiful inside and out. Women who want to see the beauty that others see in them. These women are just like you.

What to Wear for your Boudoir Session– Beyond a Matching Bra and Panty
It time again for What to Wear for your Boudoir Session. You found the perfect matching bra and panty set for one of your boudoir looks. But now, you need help coming up with some other looks. We got you!
Here is our TOP TEN list for what to wear Beyond a Bra and Panty set at your boudoir session:
- Bodysuits– They are back in style, and you can find them in your favorite color! There are styles that work with every body type too!
- Veil– Getting married or celebrating your anniversary? Bring your wedding veil or buy one just for your shoot. So many possibilities.
- Sweater– We love a long cardigan or button up that covers up just enough. Go with a neutral or go bold with a vibrant color. Show off only what you want.
- Jeans– You know the ones… your favorite pair that hugs your curves in all the right places. Pair with or without a top. Bra optional.
- Dress– Go for a sweet sundress, that sexy club dress, or your go-to date night dress. Bonus- if it has buttons or a long zipper.
- Thigh Highs–Stockings or socks. You can rock cute and comfy or steamy and sultry. Be sure to get the ones without the elastic top.
- Neck Tie– Grab one of your significant other’s favs. You can wear it with a bra or nothing at all.
- Boots– Over the knee, cowboy, ankle length… just say yes, and bring them to your photo shoot.
- Romper– It usually shows a little peek of your booty, and you might already have one in your closet.
- Costume– Who doesn’t love to dress up? Wear it again and embrace your inner super hero or vixen.
