What To Wear For Your Boudoir Session– Top Ten Non Lingerie Pieces

So many times emphasis is placed on finding the perfect lingerie pieces for your boudoir photography session. But you don’t have to limit your session to just lingerie. Sometimes sexy is just hanging out in your closet. Here are our Top Ten Non Lingerie Items you can bring to your mellBella Boudoir Experience to create your version of sexy.

Cardigan– Pair with a nude or frilly bra or NO BRA and some Bling!

2. See Through or Lace Shirts– Think Peek-A-Boo! Pair with or without a bra.

3. Tank Tops– Wear your fav superhero underoos or pick your fav color. A bra is optional of course.

4. Tutus– Who doesn’t love a tutu?!? We have several you can borrow in different lengths and colors!

5. Dress– Now you have a place to wear that cute dress that is waiting inside your closet. Wear that little number you wore on a date with your husband.

6. Apron– It’s not just for cooking in the kitchen!

7. Coats– Add a little faux fur or leather coat. No bras necessary.

8. Long necklace– Make your statement with your fav pearls or bling necklace.

9. Fabulous Heels– You know those shoes that you can’t wear out because you can’t walk in them… bring them to show off!

10. Robe– If you’re extra nervous, you can even start off your mellBella Boudoir Session in your satin robe.

No matter what you wear or don’t wear, the most important part is that you have a great time at our Charleston Boudoir Studio. We have some ladies who get addicted and do a boudoir session every year with us. Remember, your version of beautiful isn’t defined by anyone else, but YOU. Keep It Classy 2015 Recap

March 6th & 7th filled our Charleston Boudoir Studio with some amazing women. One bride got her bridesmaids together to each do a boudoir photo shoot with us on the same day… So they all got their hair and makeup done by PaperDolls, hung out together to encourage each other, had a fun private photo session with us, and then went out on the town looking and feeling fabulous. It was the perfect Girl’s Day!

Some of our other ladies had seen us at our Bridal Show booth, and they had finally got the nerve up to do a boudoir photo shoot with us. We were so humbled with the stories all the ladies shared with us from celebrating weight loss to celebrating a new start. Thank you for your trust. We can’t wait for you to see a glimmer of all that inner beauty you have shining through in your photos.

What to Wear for Your Boudoir Shoot- Bits of Lace

That age old decision of what to wear just got more complicated as you are now looking for some specific items for your private boudoir photography session with mellBella. Luckily in Charleston, we have a great locally owned an operated fine lingerie store– Bits of Lace.

They not only carry bras, underwear, lingerie, and sleepwear. They also have a sweet bridal lingerie section for all your brides to be. Bits of Lace is known for being Bra Fit Specialists and have been in Charleston since 1976. We have quite a few options in our mellBella Closet from here, but you should definitely check them out either on King Street, Mount Pleasant, or even online.
