need new clothing donations for people against rape

Tis the season for giving… People Against Rape is always seeking clothing donations so they can keep the exam room stocked for survivors’ needs. Rape victims need new clothes to go home from the hospital. We want to help.

All donations must be new. All sizes of clothing is needed, they need a selection of men’s and women’s shorts, sweatpants, t-shirts, sweatshirts, underwear/boxers, flip-flops, and sports bras for folks to wear.

You can drop off clothing donations at our studio, and we will take care of the delivery. We will drop off the first delivery the week before Christmas.

People Against Rape offers free confidential services to adult survivors of sexual assault in Charleston, Dorchester, and Berkeley counties of South Carolina. Their services include a 24-hour hotline, hospital accompaniment during Sexual Assault Forensic Exams (SAFE), police and law enforcement accompaniment, court accompaniment, follow-up services, support groups, and an educational department.
