She’s My Hero Contest

To celebrate women, their diversity and empowerment, mellBella Photography presents the She’s My Hero Contest– the Biggest Contest we’ve ever done with 10 Winners!

Yes, you read that right… we’re giving away 10 Feminine Photo Shoots, including hair/makeup and styling! At their mellBella photo shoots, the 10 winners will be styled as their hero or with a photo of their hero. Also, all winners will receive a gift basket filled with fabulous items from our sponsors.

All ladies 21 years old and up are eligible to enter. To enter, send us an email at info@mellbella.com with:

Your name and phone number
A recent photo of yourself (we love selfies!)

Who is your female hero and why she inspires you

Your hero can be real or fictional. Entries will be accepted from February 8-16th. Winners will be notified on February 19th. As part of Women’s History Month, the photo shoots will take place at the mellBella Photography studio March 5-9th. (Be sure the check out the Contest Details Section below).

Each winner’s photo from her She’s My Hero session will be in the 2019 She’s My Hero Calendar. And here’s the best part, ALL Sales of the She’s My Hero Calendar will benefit the Center for Women.The Center for Women helps women build better lives for themselves, their families, and their communities. Through their informative educational programs, networking opportunities, and skill building workshops focused on personal and professional development, they offer a wide selection of special opportunities for women to learn, thrive, and succeed. In all that they do, they are committed to creating a network of women who are equipped have economic success and become leaders in their personal, professional, and community lives.

The fun and fundraising doesn’t stop there.This fall (date TBD), mellBella Photography along with our fabulous sponsors will host the She’s My Hero Calendar Launch Party. All winners, friends, family, sponsors are invited as well as the general public. Along with Calendar sales, we will have vendors, silent auction items, etc. to raise even more money for the Center for Women. We are looking for others to partner with us for this event, especially women-owned businesses. Contact us for sponsorship and donation opportunities.

CONTEST DETAILS: No purchase is required to enter or win the contest. This contest is limited to women who are 21 years old and up. Entries for the She’s My Hero Contest will only be accepted from February 8, 2018 at 11am to February 16, 2018 at 11:59pm. To enter the contest, you must contact mellBella Photography via email at: info@mellbella.com with a recent photo of yourself, your phone number, a little something about yourself, and which female is your hero/role model and why. Your hero can be real or fictional. All entries must be submitted via email to info@mellbella.com. Entries will NOT be accepted via social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) nor standard mail. All contestants to the She’s My Hero Project agree that their submission will become the property of mellBella Photography to use for promotional and marketing purposes for the She’s My Hero Contest/Project and may be included in the She’s My Hero Calendar or the Launch Party. The She’s My Hero Photo Shoots will take place March 5-9, 2018 at the mellBella Studio. All winners agree to allow mellBella Photography to use the images from their She’s My Hero photo shoot for our samplework, print and online marketing, website, and project sponsors.

Who are the women that we photograph at mellBella? They are women just like you.

Women with kids. Women without kids. Women battling infertility or miscarriages. Women in a great relationship. Women who got out of an abusive relationship. Women not in a relationship. Women about to get married. Women celebrating an anniversary. Women no longer married. Women who have never been married. Women celebrating goals or their birthdays. Women who need a break. Women who need to feel beautiful inside and out. Women who volunteer. Women who don’t take care of themselves because they are too busy taking care of others. Women caring for sick or dying family members. Women who have lost weight. Women who have gained weight. Women whose bodies have changed with health or life in general. Women fighting or have fought depression, post partum, eating disorders, diabetes, cancer, and so many more difficulties.

Women with stretch marks, cellulite, age spots, wrinkles, big breasts, small or no breasts, tall, short, thick hair, thinning hair, and everything inbetween. Women of different ages, races, sizes, and shapes. Stay-at-home moms. Working mothers. Professional women. Military. First Responders. Strong women. Strong women who feel weak. Awkward women. Silly women. Women who want to feel valued. Women who want to feel good about themselves. Women who come to our studio just as they are with the hopes of liking 1 or 2 photos of themselves for the first time in their lives. Women who generally like photos of themselves.
