One Image Wednesday – Man’s Shirt

This One Image Wednesday, we talking about the man’s shirt as a prop. Every man has that favorite shirt, the shirt that matches his eyes perfectly, or that special shirt you got him. So, why not wear it as part of your boudoir photography session? Be sure to pair it with a pop of color bra and panty set or just forgo the bra entirely. We know the shirts are not made for women. But we have some clips we use, so you still have your curves and not disappear entirely under the shirt. The only problem is… how to sneak it out without him knowing? Just tell him it’s dirty. 😉

One Image Wednesday – Fake Eyelashes

It’s time for One Image Wednesday again at mellBella. Let’s talk fake eye lashes. They are a great way to emphasize your eyes and complete your look. This Wednesday, we are talking about pinup photography. It’s flirty and fun photography with a retro twist. Imagine yourself in the glamorous hair, makeup, and clothing styles from the 40s, 50s, or 60s. Or you can pick another time period, if you like. Your transformation starts with hair and makeup styling, then add some pearls, some vintage props, and imagination to take you back in time and around the world. At mellBella, we spend some extra time and magic to transport you to the wild, wild west, across the pond, or who knows? We even have a selection of outfits and accessories that you can borrow from the mellBella Closet as part of your session. Of course, you will want to bring at least 2 outfits or more or even you’re whole closet. We’ll help you pick the best looks for your pinup journey. This One Image Wednesday, we would like to remind you to smile. Many ladies worry about making the “sexy face” for their mellBella boudoir photo session. You know what IS sexy? You! We want to photograph a variety of expressions to celebrate you. So rock the nose crinkle, smile, and laugh. You’ll love the photos because you not only had fun, but you actually look like you had fun too. We know you’ll be nervous, but Wanda and Mell Bell are great at telling jokes or being silly to keep you smiling. Smiling is sexy.

One Image Wednesday – Accessorize

When thinking about what to wear for your boudoir session, accessories are a great way to change up your look from the typical bra and panty sets. This Bella rocked our rhinestone mask with our black tulle skirt. Both are available in our mellBella Closet for you to use during your session with us. She brought this fabulous lace top and black peep toes to complete her look. We decided against a necklace for this look because we really wanted the mask to stand alone. Bring your fav accessory with you, and let’s create something amazing.
